Time Values
I have Time values in column A i.e 2:30, :45. I want to add a column showing
these times as values. I want column B to show 2:30 as 2.5 hours and :45 as ..75 hours. Is there a formula I can use? Thank You!! |
Try...
=A1*24 ....and format as 'General'. Hope this helps! In article , "tojo107" wrote: I have Time values in column A i.e 2:30, :45. I want to add a column showing these times as values. I want column B to show 2:30 as 2.5 hours and :45 as .75 hours. Is there a formula I can use? Thank You!! |
Multiply by 24 and change the cell's number format to Number from Time if
necessary. -- Jim "tojo107" wrote in message ... |I have Time values in column A i.e 2:30, :45. I want to add a column showing | these times as values. I want column B to show 2:30 as 2.5 hours and :45 as | .75 hours. | | Is there a formula I can use? | | Thank You!! |
