Validation Table - Entering Value not in a table
I have a Validation table on my timesheets that my employees record a
pre-entered activity from a validation table to decribe what they did during a certain time frame. From time to time, there will be special exceptions that the employee needs to enter a value that is not in the validation table. Is there a way to have a cell in the validation table that will accept data entry that is not present in the table? Thanks! -- -CRM |

There is an option (Excel 2007) under data validation which allows you to
issue a warning when an item outside the list is entered.
