How to set a formula in Excel to find the numbers of series :

1000, ....., 500,000 (total 20 numbers) and the sum of 20 numbers is equal
to 1,000,000.

put the formula in B1 =sum($A:$A)

then put in A1 1000 and in A2 2000. Highlight cells A1 and A2. Thenb grap
with mouse the little square box in the lower right corner of the highl;ight
area and pulldown the box in column A. The formula in B1 should give you the
total.

There is (for all practical purposes) an infinite number of 20 number sets that sum to exactly
1,000,000.
