How to set a formula in Excel to find the numbers of series :
1000, ....., 500,000 (total 20 numbers) and the sum of 20 numbers is equal to 1,000,000. |

put the formula in B1 =sum($A:$A)
then put in A1 1000 and in A2 2000. Highlight cells A1 and A2. Thenb grap with mouse the little square box in the lower right corner of the highl;ight area and pulldown the box in column A. The formula in B1 should give you the total. There is (for all practical purposes) an infinite number of 20 number sets that sum to exactly
