Excel opening all files in root of C: when launching
I have been combating a problem, I have several users who when they open
Excel it tries to open all files in the c:\ drive. (i.e. .doc, .log, .bat, etc) I have done the following: verified that the "at startup open all files in:" is blank in the tools - options - general tab Verified that there are no files in xlstart in c:\program files\Microsoft Office\Office11\xlstart Deleted users profile Uninstalled Office, rebooted and restarted office I have verified that system restore is turned off, just in case this is not allowing something to be deleted removed the office regestry key: HKEY_Current_User\software\microsoft\office Every time I reboot and try to start excel it tries to open any file in c:\. If anyone has any idea about this please help. Thanks for looking at this post! |
