Opening Excel

Usually when I open Excel, a workbook named MyWorkbook and whatever file I
was opening opened and I could see both files. MyWorkbook contained a number
of macros.

Yesterday Excel froze and I re-booted my machine. After the re-boot, when I
opened Excel, I now get a workbook called Book1.

Can I re-set Excel so MyWorkbook is displayed whenever Excel opens?

Thanks for the help.

Opening Excel

Maybe excel thought that the myworkbook file got corrupted and wanted to
quarantine it.

In xl2003, I'd do:
Help|about MS Excel
click disabled items

If that doesn't help, maybe the file was deleted (not associated with the
crash--just coincidence). You could put a copy of your backup in the location
where the original was.
