Is it possible to use the "sort ascending, descending" option in Auto Filter
and still maintain data in cells (example, a drop down list in a cell that contains data from another page)? |

Data validation, like cell borders, doesn't move when a range containing it
is sorted. The value in the cell moves, but not the validation rules for that cell. I don't know of a workaround. Hope this helps, Hutch "megspullingherhairout" wrote: Is it possible to use the "sort ascending, descending" option in Auto Filter and still maintain data in cells (example, a drop down list in a cell that contains data from another page)? |
