Automatic Time Entry

Hi there, I'm trying to enter time codes for a DAT tape in Excel and
everytime I do, it turns it into an actual time of day (am/pm). This is
screwing up my charts and I can't seem to turn it off. Help!?!

Hi Amanda,

If you pre-format the cell as text (Format|Cells|Number Category), the entry will be stored as input.
