Tricky question and will appreciate if any can assist.
Used to download share account from share broker daily, copied data as a
excell file, signed off, opened the brokers next page, pasted the prior copy
under data in the new page, then copied all that, signed off, opened the
third page, pasted the data from the 2 prior pages under data in the new
page. Copied all and pasted to new excell page and printed.
Problem is that suddently the first copy seems to be in a BMP format, and
will not paste to the brokers next page as i used to do, but the subsequent
copys are in .csv as they should be. Why this BMP suddently ? cannot find
any reason or remedy.
Deleted all office XP and did a new install hoping that that may have
worked, but alas, no joy.

Just a guess...

Do you have excel open when copy|paste successfully?

Did you have excel closed when you got the bitmap?

I don't have another guess.

But what happens if excel is open when you do the copy from the web page--just
curious.
