Data Importing
 

I need to extract monthly data from reports submitted by one of our
distributors into Excel. The native format they submit appears to be
something developed on an ERP platform and is not Excel and can run upwards
of 50 pages. My problem is the design of these reports (which they will not
change). The appearance looks like:

Location 1
Item 1
Item 2
Item 3
Location 2
Item 1
Location 3
Item 1
Item 2
Item 3

As can be seen, the number of items per location varies. Traditional
importing seems out of the question (text-to-columns, etc). Is there a simple
way to import this kind of stuff in row/column format without going the VBA
route? Are there any recommendable resources covering this subject? Thanks
