Goto specified date
Hi everyone,
I'm using Excel 2003 and trying to use Windows Find to got to a cell containing a specified date. C3 is the 1st date in the worksheet and all other dates are calculated from this date. C: is formatted custom dd-mmm-yy and B: is formatted custom dddd to show day of the week. I've tried reformatting to Date but this does not seem to make any difference. Could anybody help me to find a way to goto specified dates as a way of navigating through the worksheet? Many thanks -- Deirdre |
Goto specified date
When you choose CTRL+F and you are trying to find a calculated Date, you need
to type in the date as it would be in the format, i.e.: 04-Apr-08, and the 3rd pull down menu, change Look in: option to Values. -- John C "Diddy" wrote: Hi everyone, I'm using Excel 2003 and trying to use Windows Find to got to a cell containing a specified date.
