Excel shared file gets renamed
We have an Excel workbook that is shared across our LAN from our RHEL 4.0
(Red Hat Enterprise Linux) server. Often I get a call from a user saying they can't access it or find it and I locate the file but it has been renamed. The extension looks like this: .xls~RF11b333.TMP What would cause this sort of thing to happen and how can this be prevented in the future? Thank you. -- geekgirl1985 |

In another thread in this group, someone suggested this is caused by AVG (which I think is some kind of antivirus program ?). Could this be your problem ? |
