Among other things, * is used for multiplcation, e.g. =2*3 in a cell will produce 6 * is used as a wild card in searches * marks data sources from pre 97 versions of Query * can be used as a text character .... Jerry |
Im assuming you're very new to XL and you are referring to a formula, e.g.,
