Protection on particular cells

You can do these one by one or all at once. All at once is probably easiest.
Left click B5 and then press and hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard. With the
Ctrl key pressed left click B10 and E8. All 3 cells should now be
highlighted. You can let go of Ctrl now. Right click on any of the cells and
select 'Format Cells' from the menu.
The far right tab of this dialogue box will be 'Protection', left click this
to access it.
Simply uncheck the 'Locked' option and these 3 cells will now be unlocked
and remain active when you protect the sheet. Select 'OK' to close the
dialogue box and you're all done.

Hope that helps
