Enable macros
 
I have a worksheet that I distrubute to employees, and some of them get a
message saying that "macros are disabled", and it does not allow them to
perform a function within the worksheet.

I know they can change their security settings, but the only problem is that
the function they want to perform is a simple calculation, and there are NO
macros within the workbook at all!

It could be that there are no macro's but that you have (completely empty)
modules. Remove these prior to distribution.
