Saving a workbook/file to a CD or DVD

I am new to Vista, ( I wish I had stayed with XL)

For the life of me I cannot find out how to save a file to a disc.

Can anyone please explain the STEPS to enable me to do this?

Thank you

I think you are confused between the application and the operating system.
Excel is the application; Vista is an operating system.
You haven't told us which version of Excel you are using. If you have moved
from Excel 2003 to Excel 2007, and you want to know where to find the Excel
2007 equivalents of your Excel 2003 commands, try
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...491511033.aspx
In most Windows applications, Control-S will save, so it's worth trying
that.

But in your message text you talk of saving to a disc, but in the subject
line you refer to a CD or DVD. Don't try saving from Excel direct to CD or
DVD; save to disc, and then copy to CD or DVD.
