2007 Excel Auto Fill - Lower right corner

Okay, I'm ready to chuck this new version of Excel out the window. All I'm
trying to do is double click on the lower right hand corner (when it turns
into a cross) to fill the cells below with the formula in the current cell.
In the past it would auto fill to the end of data to the left. What's going
on and how do I restore this functionality?

Click the office button top left and select excel options, then click
advanced in the left pane and make sure "enable fill handle and cell drag
and drop" is checked.

The advanced functions are checked and it still isn't working. Hence, my
frustration with this so called "better and friendlier" version.

Okay, nevermind. I work with Essbase for a significant amount of the day and
found that one of my options for double clicking had been selected. Swell....

Thanks for responding Peo.

Excel 2007 is neither better nor friendlier. Although I have 2007 I went
back and installed 2003 as well and I am using that version 99.9% of the
time.
