Hide/Unhide boxes

I know to hide/unhide columns but I recently saw something cool that I can't
recreate. There are small boxes in the rows above the columns that hold the
hidden columns. When you click the box it unhides, click again it hides. Much
easier for users to naviagate this way. Thanks!

Thanks but I am not referring to the group/group where you get the plus and
minus boxes. These boxes look almost like a checkbox, only a border. Is there
a place I can change the + - to a plain box?
