Extracting numbers from text
with thanks from Bob,Rick,Ron and suleman ; I think my last question was not
complete. let me ask it clearly as below: cell include reply cell include formula __ _________________________ ____ ___ ________ _____ A1 MR FRANK (25687) ----- B1 25687 ? A2 MR FRANK 256875787 ----- B2 256875787 ? A3 MR FRANK (256875) AT2008/2/6 ----- B3 256875 ? A4 MR FRANK 2560 IN U.S ----- B4 2560 ? A5 81602MR FRANK ----- B5 81602 ? would you please write for me the correct formula in cells B1 to B5 to achieve the reply just like above. |

No wonder. You gave no reason, in your requests or examples, to show points or negatives. That would have been easily remedied merely by making the appropriate changes in "pattern".
