splitting up information in a cell
how can I split up one cell containing first and last name into individual
cells for each of them? I have a file that has names in one cell and I want to seperate them so that I can sort them. |

If they are separated by a delimiter, such as a comma, you can use the text
to column function. You should find this in Main Menu: Data: Text to Column: Delimited -- Tips for Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Other Applications http://www.kan.org/tips "dmedina" wrote: how can I split up one cell containing first and last name into individual cells for each of them?
