PivotTable Row Count

I have a PivotTable sorted into a list of Names, each associated with a set
of unique account numbers. I.e., the row area of the table is NameAccount
Number. This gives me the list of unique account numbers associated with
each name, but I can't find a way of totaling the number of unique numbers
per name. Using a "count of account numbers" in the Data field doesn't work,
as each account number may appear multiple times in the data that the pivot
table is based on. Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks!

Very crafty! This does exactly what I need, but I'm having a problem with
the calculations taking far too long and weighing down the spreadsheet every
time they decide to recalculate (I'm not always certain why it recalculates).
I've got about 30,000 rows of data. Can you think of any way to streamline
this without just removing the formula and preserving the values?
Thanks for your help!

Use Excel 2007 instead of 2003
Use SUMIFS() instead of SUMPRODUCT()
10 times faster.
