I have a file I have been using for months...it all of a sudden swelled to 11
meg, then back down to 6.4 meg. It only has a couple of graphs. Anyway, it takes nearly 5 minutes to open..and it seems to be getting worse as time goes on. There are no macros, no images, just some basic formulas. Several people access the file for viewing the data. I do not have any problems with any other excel file...just this one. The following does NOT fix it. 1. Renaming the file 2. Sending it to someone else 3. Deleted all my temporary files 4. Deleted the few graphs in the file 5. Tracking has always been turned off. 6. Autocalculation disabled. 7. Reinstalled office. anybody? is this a corrupt file with a virus or something? |
