Defining lists
How do I redefine a list in Excel. Lets say I've defined List1 to be rows
A1:A50 and now I want List1 to be A1:A100. Also, how do I remove the name of a list, i.e., I don't want to have a List1 anymore or I want A1:A50 to be called List111 |
Defining lists
Sorry: Insert-Name-Define

Defining lists
Try: Insert-Name
This will allow you to define new ranges, delete defined ranges, or re-define ranges. Hope this helps! -- -SA "GKW in GA" wrote: How do I redefine a list in Excel. Take a look at the name manager addin as it is exceptionally good fo
rmanaging named ranges... http://www.oaltd.co.uk/MVP/ As for creating a simple named range you can just type it directly into the Name Box in XL (directly to the left of the formula editor on the formula bar). Make sure to hit enter when you finish entering the name... -- HTH... Jim Thomlinson "GKW in GA" wrote: How do I redefine a list in Excel.
