convert time format

Hi,

I would like to convert time format from military format to AM/PM.

Current format: 15:10:03
Wanted format: 3:10 pm

I used cell format/number/time, but it does not work.

Thanks for reading.

What's in the cells ? Choosing the right fomatting should have worked if
it's a date number. If it's text, that's a bit harder. :) You could try the
function that converts text (like "19") to numbers ... but I'm not sure if
text in a time or date format will work. Let us know how you get on.

Thanks

Thank Bruce. Yes, they are text format. What can I do now? It is a big file
with more than 40,000 rows.
