I want to create a workbook. Then I want to freeze that
workbook so that it can not be changed. I want people to open it, and do a save as and name that workbook something else. Then, I want the new workbook to be fully editable. Is this possible? Dan |
Sounds as though you want to save your file as a Template. Excel knows to
open a copy of template files, not the file itself. If the template is named DansTemplate.xlt and a user opens it, they'll see a new workbook named DansTemplate1 Look at 'Create a template' in the help file "Dan Danes" wrote: I want to create a workbook.
