Formula Prompts
 

Is it possible, using Excel 2000, to get the "prompts" when I start typing a
formula ?

At work (on XL 2003) when I type (for instance) "=vlookup(" the formula pops
up with the variable or input required as a prompt. This doesn't happen at
home with XL 2000, and I would ike it to iff possible.

That's one of the features added in newer versions of excel.

But you could type:
=vlookup(
and then hit ctrl-shift-a

or maybe you'd like to try:
=vlookup(
