Validate Data Message Box

I have a spreadsheeet with several validate data message boxes. The boxes
used to show up right alongside the cell they were assigned to, but I did
something and now they are all showing up in the same place, not moving. I
would like them to go back to being next to the cell they reference.

Please help me.

Many thanks to anyone who can help me. I won't be able to reply until
Monday, but if you can help, I would greatly appreciate it!!

Closing the workbook and reopening resets those "misplaced" input messages for
me.

Now I feel pretty dumb... Thank you, you really did help... I had the page
open all day and did not close it until I logged off at the end of the day...

You're my new hero!!
