Let user insert value that highlights closest value in an array.
Dear ...,
I'm currently working on a spreadsheet that has 2 sheets. In the first sheet, you'll find a set of criteria. The user can enter a value for each criteria, it looks something like this, after the user filled in values: Criteria 1 2.3 Criteria 2 4.5 Criteria 3 1.2 Criteria 4 1.5 Criteria 5 3.6 Then, on the second sheet I have a collection of Products and Criteria for each product, that looks something like this: Criteria 1 Criteria 2 Criteria 3 Criteria 4 Criteria 5 Product 1 4.5 3.5 4 3.1 1.6 Product 2 1 2 2 1.2 2.5 Product 3 2 3.1 5 1.6 4.5 Product 4 2.5 1.2 1.5 2.5 3.9 Product 5 3.1 1.6 3.5 3.1 2.7 Based on each criteria, I would like Excel to change the background colot of the cell in each criteria row of sheet Two to that comes closest to the value for the criteria entered in Sheet 1. Thanks for any help! |
