Excel 2002: Unstable color setting in converted file

Hello,

Quite often, I need to save Quattro Pro Version 8 file in Excel format for
better productivity.

However I noticed that when the file size is large (more than 10 MB), the
file will loose the customised color setting whenever it is opened.

Also it is not possible to draw lines inside the tables previously created
under Quattro Pro.

Is there anything MS could do to fix this problem ?

Thanks

Low
