Workbook Protection so it won't open

Hi All......
A User wants to password protect a workbook so the workbook will not open
without the password. I only use XL97, 2k, and XP and there appears to be
no means therein to do the job. Oh of course I can hide sheets, and stuff
like that, but no basic feature I can see to do the job untill XL2003.
Anybody know a way to do it in the older versions?

Vaya con Dios,
