click on Paste Special, "Comments" isn't in the selection box. For reference
here is the list of options that are in the

Are selecting the cell with the comments, or are you going into the Comment
box itself. When I select the cell with the comments I wish to copy, then
right click and paste special, I do have an option to paste the comments.

The options I get a
Paste: All, Formulas, Values, Formats, Comments, Validation, All except
borders, Column widths, Formulas and number formats, Values and number formats
Operation: None, Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide
Skip Blanks, Transpose

Default No "Comments" in Paste Special

Hey John,

Nope, I am selecting the cell with the comments, then copying, then going to
the other workbook and right clicking on the target cell and hitting paste
special and there isn't a "comments" selection. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Ben Wion

If the other workbook is in a different instance of Excel you'll get
those options. Open both workbooks in the same instance of Excel and it
should show the Paste Comments option.

That worked! A little inconvenient cause I can't use my two nifty screens
then, but oh well, I will sacrifice some productivity. Thanks for your help.

If you're using multiple monitors, you may want to review Chip Pearson's notes:
