Customize macros Very urgent
Hi Excel folks,
Stuck with a huge problem here. I have huge list of columns with First name, last name , middle name, mailing address , e-mail id ..... etc, Now when i pull any data, i need a macro which shows only the content with data, for instance if there is no mailing address, the macro should disable the same. Thanks a lot in advance |

Please explain your layout and why the urgency. Many of us simply ignore people who cry WOLF. -- Don Guillett Microsoft MVP Excel SalesAid Software "Raj" wrote in message ... I think you will need to clarify your request. You say you want to "show the
content with data"... where do you want to show it at (a textbox, a messagebox, another cell, somewhere else)? Also, what do you mean by "the macro should disable the same"? Also, when you say "pull data", what do you mean (where do you pull it to)? The more details you can give about what you are doing and what you are trying to do, the better able someone here will be able to give you an answer. Something to remember when you ask questions on newsgroups... no one on a newsgroup knows what you are doing, why you are doing it, or what you want to happen unless you tell us in detail (don't assume we will be able to guess it). I'm not sure what you're doing with the data but it sounds like you could use
AutoFilter to filter out records that did not match your criteria. Look up AutoFilter in Excel's help it's rather straightforward and relatively easy to use. -- Kevin Backmann "Raj" wrote: Hi Excel folks, Stuck with a huge problem here.
