Longitude and Latidude Formatting
I imported a text file with latitude and longitude cordinates into an excel
spreadsheet. The longitude and latitude came in as DD and not DMS like I had planned. I read some other posts on how to fix this and tried them but it didnt seem to work. When I formatted the cell in [hh]°mm'ss\" it came out as #######.... I figured this was because it had a negitive sign in front of my number. I removed the sign and tried again and got a totally different number. Ive tried about everything I could think of. If any ones knows how to fix this please let me know |

something more out of it.
