Make 948944 a critical update, not hotfix - All need filter fixed.
 
I found the hotfix to fix the autofilter deleting hidden rows after filter
applied.

Why is this a hotfix and not critical update? The single biggest
programming error I've seen with Excel. This is causing people massive
problems and making them reinstall older versions of office.

Make this a Critical Update!

Until they correct this, every single Excel 2007 user needs to download
hotfix KB948944.

Agreed! I just spent several months cleaning up data in Excel 2007...
hundreds of thousands of records. Only to realize (today) that I'll have to
repeat the last 1/3 of all my work due to this error!

I can't imagine why Microsoft doesn't make this a critical update.
I'd hate to see anyone else go through what I will now have to go through
when it could all so easily be avoided!!! :(
