where can I find a tick in Office 2003 fonts ?

I am looking for a 'tick' in Office 2003 fonts, but have not as yet found
one. I have found a square root sign which I could use at a pinch, but would
prefer a genuine 'tick' Can anyone advise where i can find one ? Many
thanks.

One way...

If you have the Marlett font available...

Format the cell font as Marlett then enter a lowercase letter a.

Hi,

Wingdings font has a very nice tick.
Alt+0252
and for a cross
Alt+0251

To use special characters hold down the Alt key
type 0252 (on the number pad only) then release the Alt key.
