Opening Excel 03 files in Excel 07 Pivot tables & graph not workin
When opening Excel 03 file in Excel 07 some of the pivot table and graph are
not opening proper. Some have no graphs and pivot tables need to be recreated. Have install Office Compatibity Pack - Fileformatconverter - Office 2003 service pack 3. Nothing helps. |

If I understand right...
Someone saved an excel file in xl2007 with pivot tables/charts using new features that aren't available in xl2003. If that is the case you are out of luck. The compatibility pack allows xl2003 to open the new file formats but it can't add features to xl2003 that aren't already there. Usually there is a warning in xl2007 when you are running in compatibility mode that warns when items are added that won't work in other versions (unless it gets turned off!).
