Trouble updating links
 

Hello,
So I have these attachments that I save from Outlook that are .html files
that display tables in a web browser. And what I tried to do was save the
attachment as i.e. "filename.xls", and I open this file and everything looks
all fine and good. But then I copy say $C$2 and "paste special" and link that
cell to another cell in a different excel file. I do this same thing for
about 7 different cells. Everything seems fine until I Save and Close the
excel files, then reopen the one with the links. And I get an error that says
something like "This workbook contains one or more links that cannot be
Updated". I cant figure this out any help would be appreciated.
