Can I freeze the side and top panes in the same document?

I am looking to freeze both the top and side panes of one document. Is this
possible? I have found how to freeze one or the other but not both.

Thank you.

Answer: Can I freeze the side and top panes in the same document?

Yes, it is definitely possible to freeze both the top and side panes in the same document in Microsoft Excel.
  1. Open the Excel document that you want to freeze panes in.
  2. Select the cell that is below the row you want to freeze and to the right of the column you want to freeze. For example, if you want to freeze the first row and first column, select cell B2.
  3. Click on the "View" tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
  4. Click on the "Freeze Panes" dropdown menu.
  5. Select "Freeze Panes" from the dropdown menu.
  6. Both the top row and left column will now be frozen. You can scroll through the rest of the document while still being able to see the frozen panes.

That's it! You have now successfully frozen both the top and side panes in your Excel document.

Yep.

Assuming that you want to freeze the top row and left column only, put the
cursor in cell B2 and freeze.
