Spreadsheet resized when printed

Each time I try to print a worksheet, Excel prints it out at about half size.

I have set the page setup to print 1 page tall and 1 page wide but that
doesn't have any effect.

I would like to avoid using zoom since I have about ten workbooks with
slightly different formatting in each and am worried that zoom would produce
inconsistency in printing across workbooks so a solution that avoids using
zoom would be greatly appreciated.

Any thoughts?

I am using Excel 2000 on XP SP2.

One more thing: I checked the settings on the printer and it is set to only
print one page per sheet so the printer isn't shrinking the page.

Maybe your print area is too large?

File|Print area|clear print area

May help.

It looks like deleting some of the empty rows solves the problem. Wow, so
simple; not sure why I didn't think of that...

Thanks for the help!
