Concatenate Will Only Work for the Cell
I am trying to concatenate a column with the string "M0101" and the value of
the previous column. I have try several methods such as manually entering the formula (="M0101"&A3) and also using the concatenate function. However it will only work for the first cell. When I copy the formula to the remaining cells in the row. I get the result of the first cell. Please help. Thanks, Myron Fleming |

The fact that the formula does something, but seems to be stuck, is an
indaction that perhaps Calculation is not Automatic. Make su Tools Options Calculation automatic is checked. -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200793 "M_FLEMING" wrote: I am trying to concatenate a column with the string "M0101" and the value of the previous column. Make sure that you have calculation set to automatic.
In xl2003 menus: tools|options|calculation tab|check automatic M_FLEMING wrote: I am trying to concatenate a column with the string "M0101" and the value of the previous column.
