Replace Date Problem
In Excel 2003 and 2007, I'm having the same problem. I want to replace all
occurrences of 06/30/08 with 07/31/08. I can only find 06/30/08 if I search values and not formulas. However, when I try to do the replace, I only have the option to replace formulas, so I can't do the replace. Help! Mary Fetsch |
Replace Date Problem
Mary,
Is 6/30/08 based from a Formula, or is it a Value? Say you have a formula, and you are telling it to return 6/30/08, then you would have to replace the value that the formula is returning, OR is your 6/30/08 a value to begin with? -- --Thomas [PBD] Working hard to make working easy. Replace Date Problem
Thomas,
It's a value - I typed in 6/30/08. I just realized, though, that it stored it as 6/30/2008. When I use that for my find and replace, it works. Thanks for your help.
