Date in cell
When I enter a dollar amount in a cell, a date appears. I must have done
something to cause this I have several previously used columns in which it did not happen, but it seems to want to continue past the columns on working on now too. |

I sounds like your cells have become formatted as dates. Select the affected cells and format as general. Select the cells you want to change to currency display and do the following:
