Date in cell

When I enter a dollar amount in a cell, a date appears. I must have done
something to cause this I have several previously used columns in which it
did not happen, but it seems to want to continue past the columns on working
on now too.

Date in cell

Hi,

I sounds like your cells have become formatted as dates. Select the affected
cells and format as general.

Tools|Format|cells
select general

Select the cells you want to change to currency display and do the following:
Click FORMAT in the menu
Select CELLS
Click the NUMBER tab
\Sselect the CURRENCY format.

Click OK when done
