Can Not Break a Link
Hi Everyone, and yet another problem. I had a link on one sheet with
another. I removed the sheet that the first sheet was linked to and when I open the first sheet I keep getting an alert that links can not be updated. I am trying to break the link but it will not break. Can you please tell me how to break this link. Thanks in advance Albert |
Can Not Break a Link
Click EDIT in the menu and select LINKS. In the LINKS dialog box select each
link and click the BREAK LINK command button. You'll get a warning that all linked formulas will be converted to their current values, just click OK. Repeat until all links are removed. -- Kevin Backmann "albertmb" wrote: Hi Everyone, and yet another problem. I had a link on one sheet with another. Thank You for answering Kevin. This is exactly what I have been doing but it
does not work. In the "Edit Links" the status is 'Source not found'. Does this make any difference? Thank You Albert "Kevin B" wrote: Click EDIT in the menu and select LINKS. I would use Bill Manville's FindLink program:
