Cannot delete object
I have a worksheet in which several thick black/blue lines have somehow
appeared in one of the rows, and no matter what I do, I am unable to delete them. When I click on Hide All Objects in the Tools, Options menu, it hides that problem row as well as my charts. Can anyone help? Thanks |
Maybe they're objects (like charts/buttons/textboxes) that have been collapsed
because you deleted rows. If you show the Drawing toolbar, you can click on the arrow icon and "lasso" one of the objects. Then you can either resize it (to see what it was) or delete it. Remember to hit that arrow icon to toggle back to normal edit mode. Sometimes when using Drawing Objects and deleting rows or columns, the rows
or columns go away, but the Drawing Object just reduces to a fine line, similar to a cell border.......if you mouse-over it and the cursor changes shape, then just at that point right-click cut.......sometimes this may take several tries to make it all go away......... hth Vaya con Dios, Chuck, CABGx3 "TVFTH" wrote in message ...
