Inadvertently scrolling when double clicking a field.

Ive noticed that occasionally when I double click a field that the worksheet
scrolls vertically to a seeming random position. Can someone explain what
the €˜feature is and if it can be turned off?

Thanks!

If you double-click on a cell edge you will jump left, right, up or down to end
of data before next blank cell depending upon which border was d-clicked.

To prevent this, don't d-click on a cell border.

Or disable drag and drop in ToolsOptionsEdit.

Awesome. Thank you!

I am apparently afflicted with a genetic predisposition causing me to double
click on the border of a cell regardless of my intentions...

I agreee the d-click and jump is annoying if one misses the target by just
"thaaaaat much"
