How do I resolve "too many different cell formats" error?
I have an old Excel file that has moved several Excel versions. Now, I am
unable to alter the formatting in any cell. I am getting the following error message - "too many different cell formats". I have tried removing all formatting, removing the formatting for one cell, copying the spreadsheet and everything else I could think of but nothing works. Please help this is a very important financial spreadsheet. Thanks Seema |

There is no magic solution. You must 'simplify' the formatting.
