Can a filtered list (VisibleCellsOnly) be sorted?

2003

Would like to sort visible cells only in a filtered w/s.

Common sense tells me no.

I realize that I could copy the filtered data to a separate sheet and then sort.

That said, I would the information on NewSheet to replace the respective information
from the original filtered sheet.

What logic/knowledge am I missing?

Any help appreciated!

Heve you tried it? It works for me in XL97 on a simple test.

Sandy,

I did try, and got a "multiple segment (or selection)" error. I'll make a few more attempts.

Thanks EagleOne
