Show Field List in Pivot not working
After I create a pivot and try to click the 'Show Field List' button, nothing
happens. The button does not respond. It is not grayed out or anything, it looks like it should work but doesn't. Is there a VB code I can run that will fix this? |
Show Field List in Pivot not working
Hi -
First, the obvious. Are you sure the button isn't working? Is the field list somewhere else on yr. desktop - it doesn't have to be floating over the Excel window. gt "RSolti" wrote: After I create a pivot and try to click the 'Show Field List' button, nothing happens. I moved the 'PivotTable' button to the toolbar. It is there, I scroll over
it and it says 'Show Field List'. When I click on it, nothing happens. "gt" wrote: Hi - First, the obvious. Are you sure the button isn't working? Hi
What I meant was that the actual field list (not the pivot table toolbar) might be "hiding" somewhere on yr. desktop - maybe under another app? gt "RSolti" wrote: I moved the 'PivotTable' button to the toolbar. Here's a snippet of vba code that shows/hides the field list:
ActiveWorkbook.ShowPivotTableFieldList = True ActiveWorkbook.ShowPivotTableFieldList = False good luck cheers, gt "RSolti" wrote: No, dont see it anywhere "gt" wrote: Hi What I meant was that the actual field list (not the pivot table toolbar) might be "hiding" somewhere on yr. desktop - maybe under another app? gt "RSolti" wrote: I moved the 'PivotTable' button to the toolbar. I received from another user the answer:
Application.CommandBars("PivotTable Field List").Enabled=true "gt" wrote: Here's a snippet of vba code that shows/hides the field list: ActiveWorkbook.ShowPivotTableFieldList = True ActiveWorkbook.ShowPivotTableFieldList = False good luck cheers, gt "RSolti" wrote: No, dont see it anywhere "gt" wrote: Hi What I meant was that the actual field list (not the pivot table toolbar) might be "hiding" somewhere on yr. desktop - maybe under another app? gt "RSolti" wrote: I moved the 'PivotTable' button to the toolbar.
