Why would you need to convert an xls to XML?
Can somebody explain to me what XML is and why you would use this in Excel. I
have not ever worked with an XML file and do not really understand what the purpose of it is via Excel. Is this just simply another file format which allows you to import/export your data easier to other applications? And/or does it help you store data differently. I am trying to understand the business requirement that would drive the need to have an xls converted to XML and vice versa. Thanks EM |
