"Paste Special / Transpose" problem
Hello,
I want to take a list of variable names in a column and transpose it into a row so it corellates against some previously recorded columns of variables and their data. Basically, I can't get the Paste Special / Transpose option to do its business here! I highlight the column, copy it, then higlight the cell I want my new row to start, select Paste Special / Transpose, and then get the message "...the copy area and the paste area are not the same size and shape..." - well , of course not! But that wasn't stipulated in the instructions in the help file, all it said was select the first cell where you want the row to start. How do I get this working, am I overlooking something obvious? |

Yes, I see now... cutting it into sections does indeed work.
I didn't think I'd exceeded the available columns but that seems to be the answer!!!
