"file cannot be found"

I have an extremely important file on my computer that when I try to access I
get the message that the file cannot be found. NOT ONLY THAT...but the path
has actually been moved to .../localsettings/temp/TCDBO.tmp.myfile.xls '
cannot be found. Please , please, Lord, someone out there has to have an
answer to my dilema!!! Thanx for any and all help!!!

If it is "an extremely important file" then you're sure to have a backup.
[And if you didn't this time, I bet you will next time!]

You can, of course, use the search facilities in Windows Explorer to look
for the file elsewhere with the old name, and/or look for alternative names
if you've got a good idea when it was last updated.

Can you find the file TCDBO.tmp.myfile.xls in the local settings/temp folder?

If so, try changing the name to just myfile.xls.

Also.........why can't you access your backup on the kingston disk?
